Welcome to my Web site!Regardless of whether it means that I am a private person, not an exhibitionist, or just boring, I an not ready to put my private life out in cyber-space. However i will say that I began life in Mississippi; moved to Dothan, Alabama; then on to Farmville, Virginia; then to Rocky Mount, North Carolina; and finally back to Mississippi. I have 2 boys and 2 daughters-in- law and 1 granddaughter -- many pets -- and a husband who is wonderful. I have a passion for "great adventures" and look for them everywhere - life is always a possibility for me. I love antiques/collectables, art/crafts (NOT cutesy stuff), music, reading, animals (cats & horses especially), dream work, exploration of the mind and good movies. I am a woman of faith and very active in my church and in prison ministry. My dream is to have enough money at retirement to have a home in Alaska on some water and a view of the mountains where I would spend the summers. In the winter, I would stay in the deep South -- probably on some land we own now with an old church moved on it and remodeled into a women's retreat center and winter home for us. Professionally, I am a Human Resources Manager who got exactly where she wanted to be in a large company, with great benefits and salary but who got layed-off when the local office was closed. Spent 8 months doing nothing except volunteer work and housekeeping and then 8 months in the job from hell (we won't go into that fiasco except to say the SECURITY INDUSTRY and HUMAN RESOURCES don't mix!) and have just started working 3 days a week as a jack of all trades for a very tiny company that includes me and 2 bosses -- they will go out and make lots of money and I will stay in the office and do whatever comes up with their clients to help them keep it. Hopefully, this will be my last "real" job. That's all I am going to say right now -- maybe I'll add more -- probably not -- but it's enough to fill this page anyway ! In His Grip, Anne
